College of Chemical Engineering evaluated the performance in 2014,and had a New Year's Party
Farewell to the Year of Horse, and welcome, the Year of Goat! On December 30th 2014, the meeting of performance evaluation and New Year’s party was held in Tangdaowan multi-function hall. More than 200 faculties in College of Chemical Engineering came together and celebrated the new year.
Feng Baopeng, the secretary of the party committee in the college, held the evaluation meeting. All heads of secondary units in the college reported their work in the 2014 from group construction, teaching staff construction, education and teaching, scientific research as well as discipline and major construction. Also, they made planning and prospects about the next work. Yang Chaohe, the dean, summarized the meeting in the end. He fully appreciated various work by all departments, showed his gratitude for the efforts and dedication by all staffs and encouraged them to work harder and make more achievements in the New Year. What’s more, the dean arranged work about the position employment period evaluation, the new round of employment and evaluation of undergraduate education.
After the evaluation meeting, the 2015 the New Year Art Show began with expectation and applauses. On the Way of Sunshine from Process Equipment and Control Engineering Department feasted the audience through melodious song and beautiful dance. Chan and Fire from Heavy Oil Laboratory combined kung fu and dance, mobilizing the atmosphere. The beautiful Song of Youth by teachers from the laboratory center, Chinese Flavor by teachers from the college office, Running by teachers and students from the biology laboratory all inspired the spirits of the audience. Faculties from the chemical engineering performed The Happy Family. Postgraduates also joined the show and they sang two songs, which won thunderous applause. During the show, 12 new staffs were welcomed and introduced to the audience.At last, the party ended with a dance performance called Happy Beats performed by dance team in our college. This party was a bond moment and we were all inspired to work hard for a better College of Chemical Engineering.
