4 published in 2016 academic papers selected ESI high cited papers

According to the latest data released by the ESI database on February 27, 2017, 15 of the academic papers published in our school in 2016 were selected for ESI high cited papers, 5 more than 2015, of which 4 were in our department , covering three fields of engineering and the one field of materials science.

It is reported that the paper publish in our school in 2016 related to six of 22 subjects ESI database,including: 9 engineering subjects, 2 environmental / ecology subjects, one material science subjects, one chemistry subject, one computer science subject, one comprehensive subject . 2 ESI high cited papers: environmental / ecology subjects are selected ESI hot papers.

ESI is an acronym for Essential Science Indicators, a basic analytical tool for measuring scientific research performance and tracking scientific trends, launched by Thomson Reuters, a world-renowned academic information publishing agency, in 2001. ESI high cited papers (Highly cited Papers) refers to published within the past 10 years and cited the number of rows in the corresponding disciplines within the world before the 1% of the papers; ESI hot papers (Hot papers) refers to nearly 2 years published and in nearly 2 The number of times cited in the corresponding disciplines in the world before the 1 ‰ within the papers. Today, ESI has been cited papers and hot papers have become one of the important indicators to measure the academic influence of the school.
