The four years of youth finally bloomed, and the colorful dream will be set sail. The 2017 graduation party called “Youth blossoming, dream to sail” was held in the multi-functional hall of the tang island bay on the night of June 18. Zhao Fanghui, the director of employment guidance center for school students, the College Party Committee Secretary Feng Baopeng, teachers, head teachers and counselors from all departments of College were invited to attend the party.
A farewell song is a prelude to graduation and we transferred the four-year life into love. The party began with a song named “The price for love” by A Yibo and Wanghao, then going better with a lively dance called “See you again”. A tearful stage play “Miss Dong and Mr. Dong’s four years” by class 1302 of Environment department recalled the four years passing by like flowing water, following with a song named “Never say goodbye” by Liu Zongzong, Pang Junyu et al. The vigor of college students was displayed by an energetic dance “Love it”, and “The most beautiful students in UPC” and “Speech, mimicry, comedy and song” made the atmosphere lively with constant laughter. A passionate recite called “ Believe in the future” made graduates full of confidence about the future and the song “ You were a boy” by counselors delivered the beautiful wish “May you are still a boy no matter how far you have gone”.
The Party Committee Secretary Feng Baopeng delivered sincere wishes and congratulations to graduates on behalf of College and fully affirmed the achievements and honors they have got. He said that the current employment rate had exceeded 95% , 40% of whom chose to have a further study with an increasing number of students going abroad, and the achievements could not be obtained without the school ethos of hard work and the pragmatic, innovative spirits which must have influenced graduates deeply as the precious presents the school gave to students. Finally, Feng Baopeng told the graduates to insist on dream of youth with more time and patience, keep enthusiastic towards life to create more chances and then be brave to face challenges to build a deeper feeling for the nation. He also hoped that all the students could have a meaningful and unregretful life with a happy family and a successful career, and as theforever spiritual home for all students, the school welcomed their return.
The farewell today is not an end but a new beginning. The graduation party created a harmonious atmosphere for graduates, strengthened the loving, honorable, thankful feelings of students towards school and expressed the wish and encouragement of teachers to graduates. There was also a signature wall in the party prepared for graduates to record their memories. This graduation party was constant climax, showing a sound mental spirit of students and delivering a deep feeling of graduates towards schoolfellows, college and teachers.
