UPC won the top prize in the Chinese college students mechanical engineering innovation and creativity competition

On August 27th, the first session Chinese college students mechanical engineering innovation and creativity competition that is the eighth session process equipment practice and innovation competition ended at the East China University of Science and Technology. Our students participated in the competition, wining 2 special awards, 5 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 11 third prizes, China University of Petroleum (East China) was awarded excellent organizational units, and 8 teachers, such as Wang Zhenbo and Jiang Wenchun, were awarded excellent guidance teachers.

Process equipment practice and Innovation Contest aims at cultivating students' engineering practice ability, innovative spirit and team work spirit in the field of process equipment engineering practice ability, attaches importance to the combination of theory and practice, emphasizes the combination of production, research and production. It provides a good platform for innovative practice of College students. This competition was sponsored by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, the Ministry of education, the Steering Committee on mechanical engineering of the higher education institutions, and the professional section of process equipment and control engineering. A total of 439 teams from 64 universities, including China University of Petroleum (East China), Shandong University, and Xi'an Jiao Tong University, participated. After the network review, on-site assessment and results report, selected 145 awards, including 10 special award, 25 first prizes, 39second prizes , 71 third prizes.
