On the afternoon of September 24, the 11th party congress of UPC completed relative issues through two and a half days’ agenda and came to a successful close. The congress considered the report on the party committee work, examined the report on the commission for discipline inspection work and elected members for the 11th committee and commission for discipline inspection.
This important congress was held during the key period that our school was vigorously implementing the 13th five-year plan and comprehensively deepening reform for the construction of word-class disciplines. According to the requirements of the school and college’s party committee, the party branch has started to organize the study and implementation of the spirit of the party congress since September 28. The branch will distribute the relevant materials to the members in the early stage and every member must learn by themselves first. On the afternoon of October 16, the party branch held a meeting to learn the congress spirit. The meeting was chaired by Sun Wei, the secretary of the party branch. All party members learned decisions of the party committee work and the commission for discipline inspection work and discussed assembly on the basis of the early learning.
This party congress gained great success and the party members reached broad consensus by learning and making discussions collectively. The goal proposed by the congress is very encouraging and the measures are quite feasible, so every member is determined to implement the objectives and tasks for the construction of a high-level research-oriented university with the coordinated world first-class multidisciplinary by combining the congress spirit with the practical work under the leadership of the party committee.
