On October 23, the science and technology awards office of China petroleum and chemical industry federation issued a public announcement of the award of the year 2017. Professor Jiang Wenchun was selected on the public list of outstanding contribution awards.
This annual award is set up by the China petroleum and chemical industry federation. In 2017, 10 persons have been awarded the outstanding contribution award through the assessment of the experts organized by the China petroleum and chemical industry federation.
As a PhD supervisor and taishan scholar distinguished professor, Jiang Wenchun gained the natural science outstanding youth fund of Shandong province, host three national natural science funds, published more than 50 SCI papers as the first author and the corresponding author in the international authoritative journals and had 14 authorized patents. The research results have been applied in industrialization and obtained good economic benefits, which got affirmation and quotation from mainstream scholars at home and abroad. In addition, Professor Jiang Wenchun is a member of The Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China and has part-time academic jobs in the advanced manufacturing committee of Shandong province and the committee on energy and environmental protection, he also was awarded the first prize in the technical invention of China petroleum and chemical industry federation and the third prize of technical invention of Shandong province.
